Hey,

I'm Jamie and you have found yourself at my blog. I am a Sophomore and am an English: Liberal Arts Major. I decided upon this major after struggling to find something that I am somewhat good at that's worth getting a degree in. I chose this major in particular because I would like to get into the publishing industry and assist in publishing novels, children's books, etc. If not that industry, I figured that this degree is flexible enough and I'll find my place somewhere. As for my aspirations as a writer, I love to do creative writing in my spare time and I hope that someday I will be able to get some of my works published and perhaps be successful and be an author as a full time career. But seeing the odds and the bills are not exactly in my favor, getting a degree and a decent job is my first priority. Either way, I love writing and will do whatever kind is necessary to succeed academically and to broaden my knowledge.
